Meet the Makers: Walter Kitundu

Four years ago or so, when I first encountered Walter Kitundu, I wrote a glowing piece on his work. So I was very tickled the other day when I found this hi-rez video from the Learning Studio with the man himself. Check their blurb:

Exploratorium multimedia artist, instrument builder, and birder extraordinaire Walter Kitundu talks about his work: he shares the staggering breadth of his work, ranging from a multitude of turntable-based instruments to shadow paintings, and to finish gives a premiere performance on his brand new instruments, a digital kora.

Out this week on Adjunct Digital, the Los Angeles based label run by dubLoner aka [a]pendics.shuffle aka Kenneth James Gibson, has released the first in a series of remixes of the classic dubLoner catalogue.
