Bad Man Dub Mixtape

Presenting a new blended mixtape of choice dubwise selections from the nu-school productions of Mossman & Bunny and Sub Oslo to the older-school traditions of Studio One and Channel One, by way of the minimal rootsy trappings of Pole and Deadbeat.

Complimentary vocal snippets were taken from Soul Jazz interviews on Studio One Story, featuring Sir Clement “Coxsone” Dodd, Alton Ellis, Sylvan Morris, Dennis Alcapone and others.

The Mossman & Bunny tracks are from the Message in the Dub, a massive limited edition (hand numbered to 1000) LP, released in 2004.

The Ja-Man All Star tracks appear on a compilation (In The Dub Zone) of two rare dub albums, JAH MAN DUB and KING'S DUB, recorded at Channel One Studio in Kingston, Jamaica in 1976 and 1979, featuring the now famous Sly Dunbar (of Sly & Robbie fame) on drums.
