the way the music died
A new PBS documentary called the way the music died aired recently, treating the state of the music industry, from the consolidation of ownership to P2P sharing and the RIAA. The title of course makes reference to the day in February back in 1959, when Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and J.P. “Big Bopper” Richardson, 3 promising American Rock-n-Roll artists, perished in a plane crash.
